And this is how i was fed after giving birth to a new human being in a modern, newly opened Medikor hospital in Poland.. Not to mention they didnt care that i was literally begging them to have the skin-to-skin with my premature baby. They just didnt listen and gave me my boy wrapped in some hospital clothes, although there were totally no complications and no need for them to intervene. They also fed him with formula although he was born a month early and i fought a lot for lactation and asked numerous times for them not to do that. And guess what? When we were leaving I also saw a note he was given glucose during our stay there..... I was also advised to stop breastfeeding for a couple of days as they said it can help with neonatal hepatitis (later a few different doctors said it had been disproved long ago and that it had been the worst thing to do as actually bf is said to help in neonatal hepatitis..). After getting formula then terrible gestation problems started (most probably being the result for the sudden need for his surgery when he was 3 weeks old) and of course hepatitis was still there. After all these years i still wish i could change all these and somehow cant leave it in the past. Feels somehow better to blurt it out.
